Give Me My Boxing Name!!

OK. So I've done some crazy things in my time. Most of them for charity. However this time Sue thinks I've lost the plot!

I was flicking through Facebook the other day, as you do. I stumbled across something that immediately caught my eye. A great charity event. This time raising money for something which is very close to my heart. Cancer Research UK.

I have a step-sister and step-dad still living with cancer. I also have a very lovely friend currently battling it courageously. She has been taking part in some clinical trials, only possible because of the research into curing cancer which has already taken place.

So, what does all this have to do with asking you to give me my boxing name?

Well. This event that caught my eye on Facebook is an Ultra White Collar Boxing Event. Taking place on Sunday 10th September at Evoke Nightclub in Chelmsford. For the next 8 weeks I have signed up to train with a team of others so that we can be ready to bash each other about in the ring all in the name of charity fundraising.

(This is why Sue thinks I have completely lost it.)

Of course, when I am entering the ring I will be announced with a boxing name. You know. Like Lauren 'Atom Bomb' Shields, Bridget 'Chutzpah' Tanner or Nicole 'Rumble' Gibson. You won't know any of these names they are just examples but I am looking for a name which suits me.

My nickname is Mazzie or Maz. My surname is Capps. So it has to be something which goes with this. Nothing too rude please...

How can you make your suggestion?

To make your suggestion click here to go to my Just Giving page. If you chose to make a donation you will have an option to leave a message. Write your suggestion for a boxing name in the message box. I will choose a name at random.

Other ways to help.

There are many other ways you can get involved in this:

4. Have a go yourself! Visit UWCB Website.

So, there you have it. I hope to be able to raise a lot of funds for Cancer Research UK, make some new friends, get fitter and maybe lose a little weight. If you could donate even a small amount I would be eternally grateful.

Hopefully I won't be too black and blue and I will look forward to seeing some of you watch me get my ass kicked on 10th September!
